The show's moment came near, the matt lights were brought near and "Oculus Inferni's" introduction already broke down completely at the Palace of sports of barcelona 's city, the lights took fire and gave them New Jersey. They shook up the public with "Set The World On Fire". A charismatic Allen demonstrated us than the you would move to the I publish at my own sweet will with his charismatic acting. Even though the quality of the sound that the group showed us was not the very best, to the public it did not seem to care.

The 5 first songs would be the presentation to their last album "Paradise Lost" in the same order you can find them in the record. Before "Domination", Michael Romeo and Lepond delighted us with an exquisite duel of guitars, while the singer presented the band before the theme. Pinella's keyboards fitted in the oversight below a mixture of sound that was quite disappointing. Going back to the set list, the band balanced out his acting with "Inferno (Unleash the Fire)", "Sea of Lies" and "Of Seins and Shadows". There is no doubt that Symphony X are an important band in the heavy progressive metal scene, but if they want to get to the top they should invest but in the quality of sound of their presentations. Anyway the show entertained all the people that were expecting it.

A traffic light that was hanging on the superior part of the scene put off the red color, in the meantime the staff placed the rest of the stage structures, among them some large-scale ants... The Introduction of the film "Psycho" began and the traffic light changed to the yellow color, and it was expected that the green color would mean that the band on stage. And so it was, right after a documentary video projected on screen, they got on the stage interpreting Space Odyssey's music. Oncefeeded of Constant Motion's riff, you cannot but devote yourself to this song with the game of voices that is generated between Portnoy and LaBrie, followed from a classic out of "Scenes From a Memory", "Strange Deja-vu".

The public could not ask for that, still next would receive the turn to "Blind Faith", the only Theme that was to be represent the Six Degrees all night long. The same astonishment would be generated by the interpretation of a "Surrounded's" new version with a duel of solos between Jordan Rudess and John Petrucci, that left open-mouthed the majority of the presents. The screen that was hanging up behind Mike Portnoy insinuated videos in all the themes, and a similar cartoon would show us to the one belonging to "Octavarium" with the members of the group like main characters in "The Dark Eternal Night's" instrumental section. Another very celebrated song was "Take the time" with a new improvisation of guitar and keyboard, with Rudess's new Zen Riffer. Well to modify a classic of the band was risky, but still this modification was so good that the public was left totally satisfied. The quality of sound of the band was was so hight that it got to us eberything so perfect and clean that we could not but be surprised, expecially after the poor Simphony X sound. If of greatness we have to speak, the good roll that was generated between LaBrie and the public is to be mentioned, expecially when the singer agreed to put on a hat that an onlooker threw him.

Fireworks inundated the enclosure marked off by definite limits with "The Spirit Carries On" filling all the public of barely resisted tears. The instrumental quality of Dream Theater's last work has been immortalized with 25 minutes at Badalona's city with "In The Presence of Enemies", that unlike the rest of the record, has been interpreted live in its wholeness.

After he moment of waiting for some encores, the publc was charged of solos and own eccentricities of a group like Dream Theater would come... An Instrumedley where you could recognise themes like "Trial of Tears" with a solo improvised by Petrucci and "Finally Free" between other ones, with Portnoy taking the undershirt on of the Barcelona F.C. Much more was not for seeing, the show had finalized, to the very band had still to greet the public with his group reverence and the typical greeting of the drummer before leaving
the scene completely. Nothing else to be said, a memorable show.
