Samir: What does "My own grave" mean for you ?

i have played drums with MoG since we started in 2001 so the band means alot to me, we are bunch of friends just hangin around and raping our instruments :)

Samir: Who are you and your bandmembers? Tell your story .

ive played the drums for about nine years now in numerous bands and projects, mostly Punk and Metal. I met Max (bass) when i was about 14 and we started a band together with a few other guys. a couple of years later Anders (guitar) who played in a band rehearsing at the same place as us joined our band... i think this was in early 1999. we changed our bandname and started writing heavier music and we kept that up for about one and a half years, during that time we recorded one demo "Osmose - In the blink of an eye". unfortunately the lead singer of Osmose and Anders joined the army and the band slowly faded into........... !? It was in the spring of 2001 Max and myself talked about forming a new band with more Thrash influences, anders joined in and we started looking for a singer... and thats how it all started. Stefan who also playes guitar joined the band in 2002 and we replaced our singer in the spring of 2003 with Aronsson.

Samir: What was ur feelin in the first time u was meetin "spectator" in the concert?

it was great of course.. there is nothing like smelly and sweaty metalkids banging their heads like crazy! :)

Samir: Where was that first show?

it was at a local club called Underground and the gig sucked.. we sucked, nervous as hell.. hehe

Samir: What are your favourite songs live?

Soulstorm and Theme for the dead.

Samir: What's the goals of your band in the future ?

well, the record is out and hopefully selling so i guess that we will start writing new material for a upcoming album and head out on the highway and do some shows.

Samir: How have the tours been going?

an official tour has not been done yet due to the delayed release of "Unleash" but we are planning a tour that hopefully will start this fall.

Samir: Who are the drums players that influenced you? And can tell us about the band's influences?

im a real Slayerhead so Dave Lombardo is one of my favourite drummers, Matte Modin of Dark Funeral/Defleshed etc. is another awsome drummer.

Samir: What would be the festival of your dreams ?

Wacken Open Air or Ozzfest...

Samir: Let's talk about your songwriting .what's the kinds of your lyrics?

i dont write any lyrics thats Anders department i barely read them to be honest.. hehe. what ive read and what i know theyre inspired by horror movies, death and destruction. clueless idiots who appear like they know everything about the scene but actually are a bunch of posers is another source of inspiration... at least when i write music, got to have some agressions when playing this kind of music you know..

Samir: If you 'll be invited to playing here in morocco, do you accepte about this invitation?

sure! if you pay for it... our budget has not taken that proportion yet but who knows..

Samir: Did you hear something about "kreator" when they played here in morocco front of 20 000 persons ?

nope.. cant say i did.

Samir: If you could tour the world with any band, who would it be ?

i would like to tour with slayer or perhaps defleshed but they are not active.

Samir: What was the favorite band you toured with?

Samir: How is everything going with your new album?

quite good actually, but as an effect of the release being delayed we didnt make deadline for most festivals this summer so we wont be playing any larger festivals. but the record is for sale in most of europe and even in america so we cant complain on the distribution...

Samir: What would you like to say to your fans out there?

Buy or steal our album, come see us when we play and bang your heads, stay tuned for more MoG!!!!!
