Samir: Present yourself to the audience.

My name is Colin Davis, Im the original guitarist and songwriter for the death metal band Vile.


Samir: What does "Vile" mean for you ?

Its my creative release. Its where I make the music that I love. Its something I cant live without.

Samir:When and were was ur meetin with the others members of the band?

I love it. Its my life

Samir: What would be the festival of your dreams ?

Wacken, or maybe Rio!

Samir: Let's talk about your songwriting .what's the kinds of your lyrics?

They used to be more typical death metal, gore type lyrics. Now they are more political and psychological. Juan was the lyric writer before, now me and rhe new singer Mike will write them


Samir: If you 'll be invited to playing here in morocco, do you accepte about this invitation?

Of course it depends on the financial situation. Touring in death metal is hard because there is not much money


CSamir: Did you hear something about "kreator" when they played here in morocco front of 20 000 persons?

Wow. Thats amazing. Well its been hard to get in there in the past.

Samir: If you could tour the world with any band, who would it be ?

Vile.

Samir: Did you hear something about "Dubai festival" Testament and megadeth played there last time ?


Yes I did. I heard it was really great! Its a cool thing to have death metal is Muslim countries now.

Samir: What was the favorite band you toured with?

Cannibal Corpse probably.

Samir: What kind of festivals have you played ?


Well we dont have many fests in the US. Actually now there are more but we have played the Milwaukee Metalfest a few times. Were hoping to play some European fests someday soon.

Samir: What are your three favorite ever metal records?

Iron Maiden Piece of Mind, Accept Balls to the Wall, Morbid Angel Blessed are the Sick.
